		<description>Don,  As amazing as it sounds, that has been my experience in dealing with folks in DC.  I know we all read accounts of lobbyists paying for access to Legislators, etc..., but it's actually much simpler than that.  All you need to do to get access to any Congressperson or Senator is; GO TO THEIR OFFICE IN DC.  I have simply walked into Senate subcomitttee hearings on any number of subjects, and been able to address many issues with ranking legislative members on the spot.  I don't know wether my presence has affected anything, but I at least have the knowledge that I tried.  As far as the White House goes?  My Uncle's brother was an Air Force general who was asked to write an opinion for the White House during the Reagan years.  His opinion came back for rewrites three times because it wouldn't fit on Reagan's one page daily briefing sheet.  In your words?  *Sheesh*</description>
