OK Don, once again your wife is right!!! Digging a little deeper (two paragraphs) on the link that you provided, clues us in to the fact that this person has a history of Writting sarcastic letters to the editor. The last paragraph mentions that his office voicemail has the follwing message, “If you are calling about the Daylight Savings Time letter and wish to explain global warming, or daylight savings time to me, I would urge you to get a sense of humor and/or a life, in that order. Unless, of course, you want to pay me for an interview…”

But Snopes goes on to relate several tongue-in-cheek letters she’s written. And look at all the responses to her daylight savings letter. If she is an attorney, isn’t it the name recognition that counts?

My personal opinion is that it was sarcasm, because I’ve come up with similar off-the-wall rantings.

Did I read this right? Is it true that Congress is responsible for the early warming? Are they also responsible for the late cold snap that killed every flower in my town? We didn’t even get a whole week of blooming tulips, and for that someone must pay.

Hot Springs isn’t all that big is it? I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s an attorney though because I know an idiot who wants to be an attorney and another who fancies herself a cop. *eyeroll*. It’s the degree that makes their head swell.

Or maybe it’s that extra hour of Daylight Savings Time. *snicker*
