My question is, why is that ancient article on the internet without links to follow-up articles at the very least? Time is not doing a very good job, eh?

Those last two just makes me wanna puke. I remember trying to gain custody of my daughter from her "step in-laws" after her mother abandoned her at age ten. They tried everything they could to prevent me from taking custody including calling the police to say that she wasn't safe with me. I spoke to the officer who handled the compaint. Basically, this family was frightened for my daughter's eternal soul, and the fact that I was not a "Christian" raised serious concerns. The Police officer came to my house, saw that my daughter was clothed and fed, looked at me and said, "Well, I don't see any horns", and that was the ebnd of it. And yes, these folks attended a huge "holy roller" type church. And believe it or not, I still practice a form of Christian faith. The main reason I say I practice a faith? Well, I don't figure I got it right yet. Not many have in my book. Thanks for sharing, Don-O.

That is pretty fascinating. I've been to one of those mega places in Denver with my in-laws a number of years ago and it was huge and impersonal and very emphatic about the need to tithe.
