RedOrbit.com sucks
I placed an order for a Christmas present through RedOrbit. Yesterday I got an email from them.
Christine,
Unfortunately, the item your ordered is no longer available through our distributor. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Your order has been canceled and the release of authorization from your credit card has been issued.
Have a great day.Thanks,
Joel
RedOrbit - E-Commerce
Fuckers.
Their website said (and I quote):
Quantity 98 item(s) available
So if you’re considering ordering from them, beware. They may not have what you want and apparently can’t figure out how to have their website reflect an out of stock product. Mine still shows up as “available” today.
So, Joel, if you’re reading this, take the damn item off your website, because if they continue their crappy service, you’ll be out of a job. And have a great fucking day. Thanks for ruining mine.

The same thing happened to me today, through another online company - The Product Wizard. Assholes. Now I have to search for the item again, and probably pay a lot more. And maybe get it by xmas.
This is kind of like that crap I dealt with last year with Target and that stupid dollhouse. The website insisting they have several items available at several store locations, but there were none anywhere. But at least I didn’t actually ORDER the thing and sit around expecting to get it. Bastards.
Christine,
Are you a homeschooler…my goodness I can not believe those words out of your mouth. I can not believe that you utter those kind of words…..and to think….oh wait that is why I like you, you talk like me. I have not even started my shopping. Yeah Me.
Wow! I feel like I entered the realm of hostile last minute Christmas shoppers! Oh, wait, it’s because I did! HAR HAR HAR! Just kidding! I’m still shopping too! Although not online at RedOrbit.com apparently. Plus, I hear they strung up that customer service guy, Joel. Had it coming from what I understand. Pissed off some chick in Iowa!
So you’re not a happy customer?
It wasn’t real clear from your post, so I had to ask.
I just got a refund from a company that kept me in limbo for 2 months.
So much for the convenience of shopping online.
